Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Serves as a link between school/community and the individual to assist in making academic gains and improving quality of life through skill development.
- Works with individuals to identify needs or gaps in executive functioning skills that are affecting their success at school or in the community.
- Provides additional support to help individuals follow through on educational/social/emotional goals.
- Maintains work with at least two individuals.
- Maintains caseload upon hire/changes to caseload must be approved by supervisor.
- May be required to drive to any location in Erie or Niagara County.
- Ensures program integrity by implementing the program as specified.
- Completes and returns all required paperwork in a timely fashion on an electronic health record.
- Attends scheduled staff meetings to further enhance instructional sessions.
- Maintains good communication with supervisor (notify director of any challenges, questions, or situations that affect the skill development process).
- Complies with all agency policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Education or related field.
- Prior tutoring/teaching experience preferred.
