Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Serves as a link between school/community and the individual to assist in making academic gains and improving quality of life through skill development.
  • Works with individuals to identify needs or gaps in executive functioning skills that are affecting their success at school or in the community.
  • Provides additional support to help individuals follow through on educational/social/emotional goals.
  • Maintains work with at least two individuals.
  • Maintains caseload upon hire/changes to caseload must be approved by supervisor.
  • May be required to drive to any location in Erie or Niagara County.
  • Ensures program integrity by implementing the program as specified.
  • Completes and returns all required paperwork in a timely fashion on an electronic health record.
  • Attends scheduled staff meetings to further enhance instructional sessions.
  • Maintains good communication with supervisor (notify director of any challenges, questions, or situations that affect the skill development process).
  • Complies with all agency policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Education or related field.
  • Prior tutoring/teaching experience preferred.
