LindenGrove Waukesha, an Illuminus Community, is hiring for a Certified Medication Assistant (CMA). We offer assisted living, memory support, and short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled care on a beautiful campus. Essential Job Functions

• Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with all individuals.
• Maintains a positive image of the entity in the community keeping in alignment with our mission, vision, and values.
• Administers medications as prescribed and per healthcare policy.
• Performs all necessary related functions, such as blood pressure checks and pulses in conjunction with the medication pass as needed.
• Communicates changes in a resident’s condition to the nurse immediately and accurately.
• Successfully completes required educational units annually.
• Attends training sessions, staff meetings, and in-services to stay current with information regarding drug therapies and healthcare processes.
• Performs other duties, as assigned.

Experience and Training

• Minimum age of 18 years old is required.
• A high school graduate or high school equivalency diploma is required.
• Successful completion and certification of the State of Wisconsin approved Medication Administration Assistant training program is required.
• To be eligible for this position, you must be current on the State of Wisconsin nurse aide directory.
• To be eligible for this position, you must be current on the federal nurse aid directory.
• A current CPR Certification and the ability to maintain it is required.

Pay

• $20.70-$23.50 per hour
• Shift Differential for PM and Night Shifts
• Eligible for Sign On Bonus
