Essential Job Functions
- Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with all individuals.
- Maintains a positive image of the entity in the community keeping in alignment with our mission, vision, and values.
- Administers medications as prescribed and per healthcare policy.
- Performs all necessary related functions, such as blood pressure checks and pulses in conjunction with the medication pass as needed.
- Communicates changes in a resident’s condition to the nurse immediately and accurately.
- Successfully completes required educational units annually.
- Attends training sessions, staff meetings, and in-services to stay current with information regarding drug therapies and healthcare processes.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.

Experience and Training
- Minimum age of 18 years old is required.
- High school graduate or high school equivalency diploma.
- Successful completion and certification of the State of Wisconsin approved Medication Administration Assistant training program.
- Be current on the State of Wisconsin nurse aide directory.
- Be current on the federal nurse aid directory.
- Current CPR Certification and ability to maintain.
Pay
Full-time and part-time positions are offered with shift differentials for PM and night shifts. An eligible sign-on bonus is also available.
