SkillBridge EMT - South Region (Multiple Locations) - Located in Knoxville, TN

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and determine necessary care.
• Deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Create a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize appropriate EMT skills such as communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, and office tools.
• Operate an ambulance according to company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs, in a professional manner.
• Engage in community programs to maintain the organization's image and build strong community relations.

Requirements

• MUST BE AN ACTIVE-DUTY MILITARY TO QUALIFY.
• Current Active-Duty Service Member.
• Meets DoD SkillBridge Qualifications.
• Available to participate for up to 90 days.
• Obtain approval from your unit commander and agree that participation can be terminated at any time by the Service if mission requirements dictate.
• Work remotely in the continental US.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State EMT License (as applicable).
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, NREMT certification.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.

Qualifications

Some work experience, preferably in healthcare, is preferred.
