SkillBridge EMT - Pacific Region (Multiple Locations) - Located in San Diego, CA

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and provide necessary care using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while ensuring confidentiality and patient rights.
• Create a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, and office tools.
• Operate an ambulance according to company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.

Requirements

• Active-duty Service Member.
• Military member eligible for DoD SkillBridge program.
• Available for 90 days.
• Approval from unit commander and agreement to terminate participation if mission requirements dictate.
• Work remotely in the continental US.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State EMT license (if applicable).
• State driver's license.
• BLS and NREMT certifications.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass physical agility test.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include:

• Current Active-Duty Service Member.
• Meets DoD SkillBridge qualifications.
• Experience in healthcare preferred but not required.
