SkillBridge EMT - North Region (Multiple Locations) - Located in New York, NY

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and administer necessary care using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while ensuring confidentiality and patient rights.
• Create a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, and office equipment.
• Operate an ambulance according to company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel, and fellow EMTs in a professional manner.

Requirements

• MUST BE ACTIVE-DUTY MILITARY TO QUALIFY
• Meets DoD SkillBridge Qualifications
• Available to participate for up to 90 days
• Obtain approval from unit commander and agree to terminate participation if mission requirements dictate
• Work remotely in the continental US
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State EMT License (as applicable)
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, NREMT
• Driving record compliant with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test

Qualifications

Some work experience, preferably in healthcare, is preferred.
