Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and determine necessary care.
  • Deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
  • Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Create a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
  • Use EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
  • Operate an ambulance according to company safety policies and traffic laws.
  • Collaborate and work professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.
  • Engage in community programs to maintain AMR's image and build strong community relations.

Requirements

  • MUST BE AN ACTIVE-DUTY MILITARY MEMBER.
  • MUST MEET DOD SKILLBRIDGE QUALIFICATIONS.
  • AVAILABLE TO PARTICIPATE FOR UP TO 90-DAYS.
  • AGREE TO PARTICIPATION TERMINATION AT ANY TIME BY THE SERVICE IF MISSION REQUIREMENTS DICTATE.
  • WORK REMOTELY IN THE CONTINENTAL US.
  • HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT (GED).
  • HAVE A STATE EMT LICENSE (AS APPLICABLE).
  • HAVE A STATE DRIVER’S LICENSE.
  • HAVE A BLS AND NREMT CERTIFICATION.
  • HAVE A COMPLIANT DRIVING RECORD WITH COMPANY POLICY.
  • PASS A PHYSICAL AGILITY TEST.
  • HAVE SOME WORK EXPERIENCE, PREFERABLY IN HEALTHCARE.

Qualifications

Current Active-Duty Service Member

Available to participate 90-days

Agree to participation termination at any time by the Service if mission requirements dictate

Work remotely in the continental US

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

State EMT License (as applicable)

State Driver’s License

BLS, NREMT

Driving record compliant with company policy

Pass Physical Agility Test

Some work experience, preferably healthcare
