Site Support Service Specialist
About the role
Air Products seeks a Site Support Services Specialist who reports directly to the Lead Maintenance Supervisor and plays a key role in supporting the operation and maintenance of Air Products' Global Headquarters campus. This position provides administrative, inventory, maintenance coordination, and facilities support for office, laboratory, and research environments while ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable facility operations.
Air Products' Global Headquarters encompasses administrative offices, research and development laboratories, and specialized support facilities. The Facility Services team is responsible for maintaining critical infrastructure, including HVAC systems, central chilled water plants, hot water boilers, electrical distribution systems, compressed air systems, fire protection systems, solar arrays, water systems, and general building maintenance. The team also supports projects involving office, laboratory, and site modifications to meet evolving business needs.
Responsibilities
- Support the operation and maintenance of Air Products' Global Headquarters campus.
- Provide administrative, inventory, maintenance coordination, and facilities support for office, laboratory, and research environments.
- Manage inventory levels, coordinate material purchases, and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to facility-related issues as needed.
- Promote a culture of safe work practices and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Interact with all levels of the organization, contractors, and service providers.
- Support maintenance operations, shipping and receiving, or facilities management activities.
- Utilize workplace management software such as Eptura or similar systems.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in facilities support, maintenance coordination, inventory management, operations support, or a related environment.
- Experience supporting modern office, laboratory, research, or industrial facilities preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP purchasing, requisitioning, purchase orders, invoicing, and inventory management preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing business priorities.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Willingness to participate in site emergency response activities and department on-call responsibilities.

Schedule
