Responsibilities
- Overseeing and performing site maintenance tasks related to fuel systems, including identifying and troubleshooting fuel systems, minor construction activities, and repairs.
- Completing scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Committing resources needed to effectively and efficiently perform the requirements of the project site, including safety and security, equipment oversight, subcontractor and vendor oversight, material management, field office management, and personnel assigned to the project site.
- Executing operations for compliance with contract SOW requirements.
- Ensuring site safety and quality control are met at all times.
- Liaising with the customer on-site.
- Understanding and applying U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Regulations, EM 385-1-1.
- Developing and maintaining proactive working relationships with team members, vendors, management, and other departments.
- Monitoring and reporting field execution status with Project Manager and CIG/Fuels leadership.
- Preparing and executing Request for Information (RFIs) requests with designers and engineers and addressing site issues promptly.
- Establishing and monitoring detailed workflows and resourcing plans, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, resolving conflicts, and managing progress.
- Foreseeing project obstacles, risks, and constraints and planning accordingly.
- Completing Daily Quality Control Reports (DQCR).
- Supervising all project site personnel and subcontractors.
- Traveling 85% of the time to TX, AR, LA, and OK.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A minimum of five (5) years of aviation fueling system maintenance, repair, and construction experience.
- Completion of an OSHA 30-hour Safety Course.
- A valid State Driver’s License.
- CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities as outlined in the Qualifications section.
- Experience with equipment operation and power tools.
- Physical demands as described in the Physical Demands section.
