About the role

You will coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedules. You will develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules to meet customer demand, optimize plant capacity, and achieve inventory targets. You will monitor production performance, material availability, and inventory levels, proactively resolving scheduling conflicts and production constraints. You will partner with Production, Materials, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to prioritize work, coordinate inter-plant transfers, and ensure on-time delivery. You will analyze production and inventory data using SQL and Power BI to identify trends, support decision-making, and improve scheduling efficiency. You will utilize SAP and other manufacturing systems to manage production plans, workflow, and material requirements while maintaining data accuracy. You will support a safe, quality-focused operation by following company policies, food safety requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Associates degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and written communication skills.
  • Experience scheduling production in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Power BI and SAP (or another ERP/MRP system).
