About the role
The Safety Representative plays a key part in supporting project success by coordinating and administering site safety programs in alignment with federal, state, local, and company safety and occupational health standards. They serve as a trusted safety resource for assigned project teams, providing on-site leadership, coaching, and guidance with the shared goal of ensuring every employee goes Home Healthy – Home Safe at the end of each shift.
Responsibilities
- Supports project success by coordinating and administering site safety programs

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field preferred
- Professional safety certifications such as ASP, CSP, or CIH preferred
- Knowledge and application of safety and health management systems in construction preferred
- Experience interpreting and applying federal safety codes, standards, and regulations preferred
- Experience preparing and delivering safety or industrial hygiene information preferred
- Completion of OSHA Outreach Trainer coursework, including but not limited to: OSHA 500, and 510 preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements related to safety and health in a construction environment
- Working knowledge of OSHA 1926 Safety and Health Regulations for Construction
- Strong computer knowledge and skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong tracking and follow up skills
