Site Safety Representative

About the role

Harsco Reed Business is seeking a Health and Safety Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position is responsible for administering and overseeing the Health and Safety program to support operations and plant management.

Responsibilities

• Administer and oversee the Health and Safety program to support operations and plant management.
• Identify and eliminate risks in the workplace through risk assessments and safety training.
• Develop and conduct all required OSHA and Company safety related training.
• Routinely conduct facility EHS inspections and implement corrective and preventative measures.
• Provide technical support on environmental, safety, and cost reduction projects.
• Maintain accurate and timely recordkeeping and reports for Company and regulatory agencies.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in workplace safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from college or university or equivalent experience
• 3+ years' experience in a Health and Safety position; Technical writing a plus
• Knowledge and enforcement of Regulatory requirements
