Site Safety Manager

About the role

The Site Safety Manager at Clune Construction is responsible for ensuring safety and environmental compliance on a local construction project. This role involves direct interaction with the project team and the Risk Management Department to maintain high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as an internal consultant to all company business units regarding safety.
• Ensure compliance with Clune safety guidelines, project requirements, local, state, and national regulations.
• Work with the project team and Regional Safety Director or Manager to implement safety programs and protocols that meet or exceed client safety requirements.
• Review, audit, and file all required client safety documentation.
• Provide safety guidance during the planning stages of the project.
• Coordinate, manage, and conduct safety education programs for Clune employees, supervisors, and contractors.
• Attend and contribute to company and project safety meetings.
• Attend outside training to stay updated on industry changes.
• Model professional behavior for Clune employees, trade partners, visitors, and vendors.
• Supervise and mentor Safety Personnel on the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field, or equivalent combination of 5-10 years education and experience.
• OSHA 30 hour certification preferred.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety standards.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $90,000 - $134,000 annually. Actual compensation is determined by relevant experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
