Responsibilities

  • Monitor and inspect the job site for health and safety compliance

  • Review and evaluate contractor safety programs

  • Develop and implement project-specific safety plans and emergency response plans
  • Resolve complaints and grievances

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational or environmental health and safety (or similar), or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of related construction safety experience or training
  • Leadership skills to cultivate a cohesive team
  • Industrial construction experience
  • Ability to identify and correct potential hazards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft applications
