Site Reliability Engineer II
About the role
As an engineer on the APX SRE CloudOps team, you will spend a significant portion of your time writing code. Our team builds the Zero Touch Platform, an internal automation platform built with Golang and Temporal (a workflow orchestration engine) that eliminates manual operational toil at scale. You will develop workflows, APIs, and services that replace what previously required human intervention with reliable, tested automation. You will also participate in on-call rotations and incident response. Understanding production firsthand gives you the context to build automation that solves real problems. This role combines significant software development with standard DevOps configuration and production ownership.
Location
This role is based out of our Seattle or Boston office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.
