Responsibilities

  • Support cloud infrastructure architecture and components, including hybrid cloud and Public Cloud platforms.
  • Initiate and operationalize Public Cloud solutions.
  • Configure, optimize, and ensure performance of deployed public cloud solutions.
  • Contribute to SRE operational readiness practices and Golden Signals monitoring.
  • Support logging and exception handling hygiene.
  • Contribute to toil reduction by implementing and maintaining operational mechanisms.

Qualifications (SRE-I)

  • Thorough command of both Windows and Linux operating systems, with strong troubleshooting background.
  • Good understanding of Kubernetes or related enterprise container platforms.
  • Knowledge of Public Cloud Governance frameworks, architectures, and services, particularly within Microsoft Azure.
  • Automation skills in Linux and Windows, including bash, Python, and PowerShell.
  • Experience with Terraform plans and Azure CLI.
  • Experience with modern source control repositories and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud-native and microservice architectures.
  • Experience with distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, and networking protocols.
  • Experience with open-source applications, frameworks, and libraries.
  • Experience with reliability engineering concepts such as SLOs/SLIs.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools like Golden Signals.
