About the Role
The Site Program Manager (SPM) is the on-site leader of a Think Together educational program conducted on a partner-school campus. This role oversees all aspects of the state-wide recognized after-school program, ensuring it meets educational and recreational requirements, operates safely and efficiently, and functions in accordance with policies and operational procedures. The SPM is responsible for student safety, site operations, and program quality, fostering positive partner relationships, and maintaining Average Daily Attendance (ADA) goals.
Responsibilities
- Manages successful day-to-day site operations and program activities.
- Monitors and assesses program success, including participation levels, activity quality, behaviors, and student achievement.
- Implements Think Together Program Design, curriculum, and safety guidelines.
- Trains and supervises site staff on academic and enrichment instructional practices.
- Ensures compliance with funding source requirements, including attendance targets and grants.
- Maintains accurate student enrollment and program records.
- Collaborates with school administrators, faculty, parents, and stakeholders.
- Manages site-level budgets and human resource policies.
- Attends meetings, training, and implements program improvements.
Qualifications
Level 1:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D required; Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
- 1-2+ years of experience in education/youth programs.
- 1+ year in a supervisory or leadership position (2+ years preferred).
- Completion of Think Together Build the Bench Program preferred.
Level 2:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D required; Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
- 2-3+ years of experience in education/youth programs.
- 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership position (3+ years preferred).
- AA or vocational certificate related to the position.
- Completion of Think Together Build the Bench Program preferred.
Requirements
- Previous classroom experience required.
- Strong communication skills with students, parents, and school staff.
- Excellent program management skills.
- Bilingual/Bi-cultural (Spanish) preferred in some districts.
- CPR/First Aid certified or ability to obtain within 60 days.
- Satisfactory TB skin test and passing background check (DOJ & FBI).
