The Site Merchandising Manager is responsible for optimizing the Lulus online shopping experience to drive conversion, revenue, and site performance through strategic product placement, categorization, search, recommendations, and onsite merchandising. The ideal candidate is analytical, creative, and commercially minded, using customer behavior and performance insights to identify opportunities and partner cross-functionally on optimizations that improve product discovery and business results. This role is based in our Los Angeles office and reports to the Head of Product and Merchandising. Schedule: This is a Hybrid role working out of our LA Office 3 days a week (Tues-Thurs). What You’ll Do Evaluate, maintain, and execute effective product categorization, attributes, sort orders, site search experience, and categorization strategies that facilitate efficient search and browsing, reinforce a positive brand experience, and support effective visual merchandising. Collaborate with e-commerce Buyers, Marketing, and Content teams to plan and execute seasonal activations based on key brand stories, seasonality, forecasts, selling trends, and inventory investment. Activation touchpoints include email marketing campaigns, on-site content, main navigation updates, internal search optimizations, and product list page merchandising. Analyze site experience and product presentation performance and make optimizations to enhance website conversion and revenue related to site merchandising. Conduct and lead standard and ad hoc analysis depending on business needs and share results and recommendations with Merchandising and Content teams. Support and manage digital selling channels: website and app, US & International, closely monitoring quality, functionality, and performance, catching issues, and tackling breaks/fixes with a high level of urgency. Lead internal search strategy through partnerships with external vendors; conduct and present weekly analysis on KPIs relating to search trends that could inform on-site strategy as it relates to merchandising and content. Update the merchandising team regularly on optimizations and best practices. Lead product recommendation strategy. Conduct and present weekly analysis on existing product recommendations, optimize, and implement new product recommendations, striving to maximize cross-sell and upsell potential. Actively participate in decision-making regarding user experience, new features, new tools, and on-site marketing tactics, as they relate to merchandising. Lead and conduct research on the marketplace and competitive set for best practices, trends, new ideas and actions to be taken related to the online consumer shopping experience and site presentation. Provide feedback and suggest ideas and enhancements to management and peers on critical processes. Performs other duties as required/assigned. What You’ll Need Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field; equivalent additional experience may be considered in place of a degree. 8+ years of e-commerce site experience. An understanding of the brand, its customers, and its products to present a compelling story on-site to maximize revenue. A high energy, positive attitude with the drive and motivation to constantly improve the online experience for customers. Ability to effectively collaborate and build strong relationships with key cross functional partners. Strong analytical skills with attention to both big and little details with an ability to respond to urgent requests and adapt to changes in business trends. Ability to prioritize and handle multi-tasks and be extremely organized. Proficient knowledge of web analytics and e-commerce KPIs and willingness and ability to learn new platforms. Proficient in MS Office and excellent Excel skills. Excellent communication; written, oral and group facilitation with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Nice to Have - Bonus Points!
