About the role
As the Site Manager, you will exhibit strong leadership and team management skills to effectively motivate and manage your team. You will ensure the store operates smoothly and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. Leading by example, you will set the standard for excellence in customer service, sales, and team management, with objectives including increasing profitability and driving sales growth.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to maintaining positive relationships with customers, vendors, and employees. You must also have a thorough understanding of sales and inventory management and be capable of developing and implementing strategies to boost profitability and sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the store's daily operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and employee scheduling.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
- Train, motivate, and manage a team of sales associates to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals.
- Perform preventative maintenance on tunnel equipment and general facilities maintenance.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with customers, vendors, and employees.
- Exemplify a strong safety mindset and strict adherence to protocols.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff.
- Oversee daily workflow of the site and provide constructive, timely performance evaluations.
- Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Set clear expectations by outlining tasks, goals, and deadlines for team members.
- Regularly check in on progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage collaboration, recognize achievements, and address conflicts promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in business administration or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in retail management.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and increasing profitability.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
