What You’ll Do
- Operational Leadership
- Oversee all aspects of facility operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and design specifications
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures to optimize efficiency
- Maintain a site that is inspection-ready and professionally maintained at all times
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop site personnel
- Conduct performance reviews and drive professional growth initiatives
- Foster a strong safety culture and accountability across the team
- Facility & Grounds Management
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, infrastructure, and grounds
- Coordinate landscaping, pest control, and overall site upkeep
- Safety & Compliance
- Partner with Safety leadership to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Deliver and document training programs; ensure adherence to policies and regulations
- Planning, Reporting & Hybrid Work
- Prepare reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) for internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze operational data to identify improvements
- Collaborate remotely with leadership using modern communication tools
- Maintenance & Resource Management
- Drive preventive maintenance programs and oversee repairs
- Manage contractors and ensure quality and compliance
- Oversee inventory, tools, and equipment procurement
- Financial & Strategic Input
- Contribute to budgeting and long-term operational planning
- Support capital planning including construction, repairs, and upgrades
What You Bring
- Experience: 5+ years in wastewater operations (2+ years leadership preferred)
- Certification: Wastewater Treatment Operator license required
- Education: Associate’s degree preferred (HS diploma required)
- Strong knowledge of operations, maintenance, safety practices, and compliance standards
- Able to interpret technical documents, analyze data, and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varying weather and plant conditions
- Comfortable working in industrial environments with exposure to noise, odors, and chemicals (with proper PPE)

Compensation
The expected hiring range for this role is: $100,000 – $150,000 (based on experience, education, and market factors)
