Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate teams of 5 to 10 individuals.
- Plan and coordinate manpower, tools, materials, and equipment for project completion.
- Schedule and manage subcontractors effectively.
- Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
- Oversee and maintain the production process to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Complete and maintain daily timesheets and job logs.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and enforce best practices on-site.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of field leadership experience.
- Proficiency in GPS systems.
- Knowledge of underground utility installation, excavation regulations, and pipeline safety.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and ability to enforce them.
- Ability to work in a crew-based, fast-paced environment.
- Punctual, dependable, and capable of handling manual labor for extended periods, including work in unfavorable weather conditions.
- Physically capable of performing climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and material handling tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Must pass a DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
