SITE FOREMAN

Responsibilities

• Report project progress to superintendents
• Develop, organize and track a production schedule for workers
• Supervise all construction workers
• Be the liaison between construction workers and superintendents
• Ensure that a project is adequately staffed
• Assign tasks to construction workers and follow up on progress
• Ensure that the project is staying on or under budget
• Read and interpret construction documents and blueprints, and be able to translate the information to other parties
• Perform quality checks on construction equipment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred but not required)
• Bilingual (preferred but not required)
• Ability to solve disputes between workers
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to negotiate
• Deep knowledge of the construction industry and processes
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA and other safety requirements
