Site Controller (F/M/X)

About the role

The Soda Ash Controlling team, consisting of 6 members, is part of the Finance department. As a Site Controller, you will support the operations of Green River and Parachute sites, which are part of the Global Business Unit Soda Ash & Derivatives. Your responsibilities include:

• Organizing and coordinating the forecasting process and creating annual budgets with cross-functional teams.
• Providing relevant information for the preparation of the GBU budget and rolling forecasts, including fixed costs, variable costs, capital expenditures, inventories, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Analyzing and reporting current month’s financial results and KPIs of the plant in accordance with GBU format and time requirements, and explaining the performance trends to the plant and GBU management.
• Conducting performance reviews with Site management, focusing on labor and maintenance costs, material costs, manufacturing overhead, distribution costs, returns, and inventory levels, and offering recommendations for improving financial performance and asset optimization.
• Maintaining compliance with Group Finance standards and procedures, performing internal controls at the Site for finance, and educating and raising awareness within the Site team.

Requirements

We are seeking a Site Controller with:

• A relevant education degree or equivalent in finance or accounting.
• Relevant work experience in controlling in manufacturing contexts.

• Strong analytical and technical skills with a solid cost accounting background.
• Able to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports and projections with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills and the ability to provide clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.
• The ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding financial information and uphold high ethical standards.

Pay

The base pay for this role is $112,000 - $140,000 per year in the US. Your actual salary may vary based on your skills and experience.
