Site Civil Team Lead

About the role

HDR is seeking a Site Civil Team Lead in the Madison, WI and Milwaukee, WI offices. This role is in our Building Engineering Services Design Center, a full-service, multi-disciplinary team including mechanical, electrical, structural, and site civil engineers.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership to the team, identifying growth opportunities through mentoring and training
• Cover design work of Site Civil Engineers, EITs, and Designers from pre-design activities through detail design, construction support, and commissioning
• Coordinate with other sections for technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services
• Support marketing and project pursuits, workplan development, quality control, recruiting, and team development
• Implement, monitor, and support company policies
• Select, train, develop, and manage technical and production personnel
• Lead coordination with multidiscipline teams
• Participate in national marketing and production efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 7 years experience
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, AutoCad, Civil 3D, HydroCad, and other civil engineering software as appropriate
