Site Civil Team Lead

About the role

HDR is seeking a Site Civil Team Lead in the Madison, WI and Milwaukee, WI offices. The position is in our Building Engineering Services Design Center and involves leading a team of Site Civil Engineers, EITs, and Designers on complex engineering projects in the Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) sector.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership to the team, identifying growth opportunities through mentoring and training
• Coordinate the design work of Site Civil Engineers, EITs, and Designers across various stages of project development
• Create a collaborative and motivating team culture to promote design excellence
• Support marketing and project pursuits, workplan development, quality control, recruiting, and team development
• Manage multiple multi-disciplinary projects and may be called to manage projects with a predominantly engineering focus
• Lead coordination with multidiscipline teams and work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 7 years experience in Site Civil Engineering
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCad, and other civil engineering software as appropriate
