Shuttle Driver Part Time| Weekends Off | Huntersville

About the role

As a Shuttle Driver for Christian Brothers Automotive, you will provide safe and reliable transportation to and from our shop for our guests. You will drive our branded vehicle, adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, and deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests, assisting with entry and exit from the shuttle, and maintaining a clean, comfortable shuttle environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe shuttle service for our valued guests
• Treat guests with respect under all circumstances, aligning with Christian Brothers' values
• Deliver a high-quality experience in our branded company shuttle vehicle
• Maintain a timely shuttle route
• Assist passengers with getting in and out of the vehicle
• Support the shop with receiving, processing, and transporting incoming and outgoing parts, and other errands as needed
• Report any shuttle vehicle maintenance needs (e.g., oil changes, tires, cleaning) to the service manager
• Keep the shuttle tidy and organized
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Demonstrate a desire to learn automotive repair service terminology and processes
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license
• Meet required insurance driving record parameters
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff, vendors, and guests
• Enjoy a fast-paced environment and team-oriented mindset
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Frequently sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear
• Occasionally balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
• Dependability for a position requiring availability Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Schedule

• Part-time position, 2-3 days per week (no weekends)
• Set schedule with a pay rate of $15/hour
• 2-3 positions available

This position involves driving a branded shuttle vehicle. The location is independently owned and operated by a local licensed franchisee. If hired, the franchisee will be your employer, responsible for all employment decisions, including hiring, firing, discipline, compensation, scheduling, and supervision.
