Shuttle Driver | Weekends Off | Simpsonville

About the role

As a Shuttle Driver with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the person that our guests look to when they need safe and reliable transport to and from our shop. You play a large role in building relationships with our guests and our community.

Responsibilities

• Desire to learn automotive repair service terminology and processes
• Provide a safe shuttle service for our valued guests, driving guests to and from the shop location
• Drive to pick up automotive parts as needed
• Treat our guests with the utmost respect under all circumstances and with a heart consistent with Christian Brothers
• Maintain a timely shuttle route
• Assist passengers in getting in and out of vehicles
• Assist the shop with receiving, processing, incoming and outgoing parts and other errands as needed
• Notify service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, and general maintenance
• Keep the facility clean and organized
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with our staff, vendors, and customers
• Valid state driver's license
• Meet required insurance driving record parameters
• Enjoy a fast-paced environment and a team mentality (we work hard but like to have fun doing it)

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear
• Occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
• Dependability for a position that is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
