Shuttle Driver | Weekends Off | Avon

About the role
As a Shuttle Driver for Christian Brothers Automotive, you will provide safe and reliable transportation to and from our shop for our guests. You will drive our branded vehicle, adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, and deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests, assisting with entry and exit from the shuttle, and maintaining a clean, comfortable vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Desire to learn automotive repair service terminology and processes
- Provide a safe shuttle service for our valued guests
- Treat guests with respect under all circumstances, aligning with Christian Brothers’ values
- Deliver a safe, welcoming experience in our branded company shuttle vehicle
- Maintain a timely shuttle route
- Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle
- Support the shop with receiving, processing, and transporting parts and other errands as needed
- Notify the service manager of any shuttle vehicle maintenance needs (e.g., oil changes, tires, cleaning)
- Keep the shuttle tidy and organized
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and guests
- Valid state driver’s license
- Meet required insurance driving record parameters
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment and team-oriented mindset
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Qualifications
Physical Requirements
- Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear
- Occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
- Dependability for a Monday through Friday schedule (7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
