Part Time Shuttle Driver | Weekends Off | Norcross

About the Role
As a Shuttle Driver for Christian Brothers Automotive, you will provide safe and reliable transportation to and from our shop for our guests. You will drive our branded vehicle, adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, and deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests, assisting with shuttle entry and exit, and maintaining a clean, comfortable shuttle.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe shuttle service for our valued guests
- Treat guests with respect and a heart consistent with Christian Brothers values
- Deliver a "safe, nice difference" service in our branded company shuttle vehicle
- Maintain a timely shuttle route
- Assist passengers in getting in and out of vehicles
- Support the shop with receiving, processing, incoming and outgoing parts, and other errands as needed
- Notify the service manager of any shuttle vehicle maintenance needs (e.g., oil changes, tires, cleaning)
- Keep the shuttle tidy and organized
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Learn automotive repair service terminology and processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid state driver’s license
- Meet required insurance driving record parameters
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and guests
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment and team-oriented mindset
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Dependability for a Monday through Friday schedule (7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
Physical Requirements
- Frequently sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear
- Occasionally balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
