Shuttle Driver, Guest Services

About the role

The Broadmoor is seeking a Guest Services Shuttle Driver to support our mission of creating a culture of family and community while providing exceptional service to our guests and team. This role plays a key part in maintaining our reputation and delivering memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed all applicable AAA and Forbes standards set for the Shuttle Driver.
• Smile and welcome guests with a positive attitude that supports the philosophy of The Broadmoor Hotel.
• Inspect, clean, and report any maintenance issues on assigned vehicles.
• Transport guests and employees to and from designated locations.
• Drive vehicles in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
• Able to safely and correctly operate the wheelchair lift on the handicap-accessible buses.
• Communicate effectively with other team members using radios and earpieces.
• Assist passengers with luggage or packages, loading, and unloading.
• Report any accidents or damage to a vehicle to the Guest Services Supervisor and Loss Prevention.
• Help clean and maintain all work facilities.
• Ensure important information and details are passed along to the next shift.
• Maintain confidentiality of any guest information.
• Check out with supervisor at end of shift.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or three months of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License preferred to assist with driving shuttles or transporting guests as needed.
• Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
• Work environment that is primarily indoors and outdoors at times.
