Guest Shuttle Driver

About the role

The pay for this position includes a base rate of $13 an hour plus gratuity. Nemacolin is seeking individuals to transport guests safely while providing excellent hospitality service.

Responsibilities

• Daily reading of logbook and pick-up of daily event sheet.
• Complete walk-through of vehicle; log damage on log sheet and report to manager.
• Check vehicles fluids and tires.
• Required to clean both exterior and interior of vehicles.
• Able to interact with guests that have high expectations.
• Provide guests with information about resort facilities, activities, and services.
• Greet and make eye contact with all guests entering the vehicle.
• Serve as Dispatcher when needed.
• Perform transportation off property.
• Courteous communication on hand-held radios between dispatcher and other drivers.
• Must stay in a continuous loop throughout property.
• Serve as a liaison between guests and management.
• Other Job duties assigned.

Requirements

• A High School diploma is required.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
• Ability to take direction and be able to work under stressful situations.
• Flexible with schedule and able to work evenings, days, holidays, and weekends.
• Excellent communication skills and desire to work with other people in a team environment.
• Willingness to work varied hours.
• Able to drive standard and automatic transmissions.

Qualifications

• Customer-service oriented.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to speak English.
• Able to work flexible hours including nights, holidays and weekends.
• Able to work with a valid driver’s license.

Skills

• Knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Ability to operate various hotel equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
