Showroom Manager

About the role

The Showroom Manager is responsible for providing inside sales, presenting products to local designers, keeping the showroom space and sample library organized, and running showroom events.

Responsibilities

• Open and close showroom daily
• Handle inside sales
• Set up and manage showroom events (occasional evenings and weekends)
• Generate traffic into the showroom
• Present information on all brands clearly, accurately, and professionally
• Clearly communicate Mission Zero, Seven Fronts of Sustainability, and Climate Take Back
• Present product information to local designers
• Maintain the showroom and develop plans to maximize sales
• Create and implement showroom displays
• Assist walk-in customers
• Manage the on-site tile sample inventory
• Work with Account Executives (AEs) to provide samples to clients
• Coordinate Lunch n' Learn and other events for AEs
• Responsible for facility coordination, including utilities, maintenance, and janitorial contracts
• Maintain housekeeping
• Comply with safety rules and environmental regulations
• Be aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma (four-year college degree in Design or a related field preferred)
• One to three years of sales experience in a retail/design environment preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong customer relationship skills
• Demonstrated organization and follow-up skills
• Demonstrated design experience preferred
• Proficiency with Canva, Instagram, LinkedIn, PowerPoint, and Excel is preferred

Physical demands

• Occasional lifting and moving of less than 50 lbs.
• Occasional travel
