About the role

This is a seasonal position as a show host/hostess, emcee, singer, dancer, and park greeter. You will perform with great enthusiasm and high animation during rehearsals and shows, both on stage and on the street.

Responsibilities

• Perform as a show host/hostess, emcee, singer, and dancer
• Meet and greet park guests with energy and passion
• Execute specific choreographed movements as required by the role
• Maintain organization of props and costumes
• Keep dressing rooms and performance areas clean
• Transport costumes between performance locations and wardrobe

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be passionate about performing and energetic
• Must love what you are doing

Physical Requirements

• Constantly standing, talking, climbing, walking, reaching, using finger movement, grasping, feeling, speaking clearly, hearing conversation, and using hearing acuity
• Frequent seeing (near and far), stooping, bending, and kneeling
• Working in extreme heat, sun, cold, wetness, humidity, and temperature changes for up to two-hour intervals
• Must be able to wear 5 to 20 pounds of costume weight
• All lifts over 51 lbs. require help from a coworker or mechanical device
• Occasional overtime may be required to accommodate business needs

• Where: Gearworks Theatre
• Auditions: 5pm - 8pm
