Host: up to $15/hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive and escort them to their table and present menu
• Maintain host desk and all menus tidy/ clean/ neat
• Receive record and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant
• Observe all safety procedures during the execution of assigned duties
• Work efficiently as a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk during 8 to 10 hour shifts
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop and wipe to perform essential job functions
• Ability to read the English language to fully comprehend guest requests, memos, reservations, promotional materials, event orders and similar written materials
• Ability to move throughout a crowded room to seat guests

Required Education

Any combination of education, training and experience equivalent to graduation from high school that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).
