Shop Lead

About the role

As a Shop Lead, you’ll ensure customer satisfaction by delivering best-in-class services through direct engagement, understanding their requirements, and providing timely, effective solutions. You’ll maintain maximum equipment availability by servicing all units in strict accordance with Aggreko policies and procedures while consistently delivering first-class service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the efficient operation of service centers and their Supply Chain Management (SCM).
• Collaborate with SCM to oversee key responsibilities and maintain the overall effectiveness of service center operations.
• Support a team of technicians to deliver optimal operational results, alongside the Technician Lead.
• Share accountability for technician supervision and scheduling with Workforce Scheduling (WFS).
• Ensure high team performance through daily leadership, coaching, development, and corrective actions.
• Guarantee asset availability and reliability through timely maintenance before delivery and during operation.
• Manage equipment transfer requests and confirm all units are "green carded" and fully functional for deployment.
• Maintain accurate records of yard-based assets and inventory, oversee parts supply and core returns, and monitor service material costs in line with budget and KPIs.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of commissioning reports, test reports, rental log sheets, performance sheets, KPI sheets, and decommissioning reports to facilitate final customer payments.
• Review and certify technician expense reports in Concur.
• Prepare requisitions and confirm receipt of supplies, parts, and fleet.
• Execute customer contracts and deliver services in line with Aggreko standards.
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in a related field, specialized diploma, or vocational training.
• Experience defining labor requirements, including required skill sets and time quantification for workshop activities.
• Ability to prioritize and respond with appropriate urgency.
• Experience in operations or the rental industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and other software programs.

Pay

$95,000 to $125,000 per year.

Essential Physical Requirements

• Availability to work assigned schedules, travel to work locations (if needed), and be on standby for work outside regularly scheduled shifts.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods; walk over uneven terrain with functional balance.
• Ability to move extremities and spine through a functional range of motion for work from ground/floor level to full overhead level.
• Good finger dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and grip strength to safely hold tools and navigate stairs or ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, push/pull up to 80 lbs, carry up to 60 lbs, and climb stairs/ladders while carrying objects up to 15 lbs.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, and squat.
• Must pass a post-offer physical abilities assessment.
