Scope of Responsibility
- Maintain the Document Control system to ensure all documentation is complete and follows the company’s standard of procedure.
- Aid your team members based on daily priorities set by management.
- Support, follow, and enforce Sabre Tubular Structures safety policies.
- Maintain file systems both electronically and by hand.
- Be very detail-oriented.
- Maintain the Traveler System, sorting, exporting, scanning, and merging files, both electronically and by hand.
- Ensure all documents in use are current.
- Ensure all documents are verified, corrected, and ready for review per customer requirements.
- Ensure all files are in order, drawings copied, and distributed.
- Pick up additional paperwork and answer phone calls.
- Train in Epicor and assist the lead with testing environment.
- Assist in Reject tags.
- Train in all document control procedures for support when needed.
- Do follow-ups when working on projects.
- Work closely with other departments within the company.
- Properly store old sales order paperwork for offsite storage.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Regular and On-Time Attendance
- Work in your shift as scheduled.
- Get along with coworkers.
Position Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Must be articulate, have good comprehension of the written word, and must be able to compose professional emails and reports.
- Filing and ability to use office equipment such as copier, fax machine, and scanner.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to work with little to no supervision as well as with groups.
- Intermediate computer skills with experience in MS Office.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
Physical Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work with frequent interruptions in workflow and constantly changing priorities.
- Able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time with the ability to move throughout the office or outside manufacturing plant as needed.
- Able to perform physical activities that require use of fingers, hands, and arms, such as sitting, typing, using office equipment, and reaching.
- Some additional physical activities may require walking, stooping, bending, twisting, and handling of materials.
- Manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and a safety-minded individual.
- Able to concentrate on tasks for long periods of time and be able to observe and receive information from all relevant sources.
