Shop Floor Supervisor

About the role

The role involves supervising the day-to-day operations on the shop floor, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This includes managing team dynamics, resolving conflicts, and maintaining high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of shop floor workers
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
• Resolve workplace issues and conflicts
• Oversee production schedules and ensure timely completion of projects
• Train and mentor new employees as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Experience with industrial equipment and machinery

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 annually

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
