Shoe Runner Associate

Part-time

Aid in Men's, Women's, and Youth shoe areas.
Communicate proactively with the Specialty Shop Manager and team about urgent needs in the area.
Select shoes from backstock and place them in the staging area for sales associates.
Return any unpurchased shoes to the correct areas in backstock.
Assist Customer Service with shoe return processing and return items to the sales floor.
Keep the product organized to eliminate clutter and maintain accurate inventory records.
Initiate a warm and welcoming interaction with customers, establishing a rapport and offering assistance, setting a positive tone for the customer's experience.
Maintain a smooth flow of service to minimize wait times for customers.
Be organized, multi-task, and maintain all aspects of the Shoe Runner role.
Communicate effectively and promptly with strong oral/written communication and presentation skills.
Apply basic understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Show attention to detail.
Be professional in appearance and attitude, contributing to a positive team atmosphere, and treating others with respect and consideration while following Scheels' policies and procedures.
Willing to do other tasks as assigned by the leadership team and merchandiser.
Lead work assigned schedule; may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and or 1-3 months of sales experience.
