Shipping Utility

Job Summary

Mckee Foods is seeking a Shipping Utility to join their Shipping Department team. The role involves working and interacting as part of a 2-person team to meet team performance goals. Duties include using computers in both Windows and non-Windows environments, picking cases and loading onto conveyors to fill distributor's orders, maintaining high levels of accuracy in filling orders, stacking cases in trailers, maintaining accurate information in WMS, communicating effectively with others, and performing cross-training in other areas.

Required Qualifications

• Overall good work record (including attendance, safety, job performance, flexibility, and team behaviors)
• Demonstrated ability to work in a cohesive team environment
• Ability to work with computers (data entry)
• Basic math skills
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting
• Demonstrated ability to promote continuous process improvement and LEAN principles
• Capable of reaching work goals with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with WMS
• Previous shipping and lift truck experience

Pay and Benefits

• Pay: $23.88 - $25.10 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Shift Premium: $1.00 / hr for 2nd Shift hours
• Incentive: Paid when producing above the minimum standard, average incentive is $350 weekly
• Schedule: 2nd Shift (Sunday - Thursday, 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.)
