Shipping Technician I 1st shift

Position Summary

The Shipper position is a very important component to the production of both our infrastructure and agricultural products. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Storing materials
• Picking, packing, and scanning orders
• Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to Lindsay Corporation Safety Policies and Procedures

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
• At least 18 years of age
• Forklift and/or crane operators preferred, Certification obtained through employment
• CDL a plus
• One year of warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to add and subtract using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including metguard boots, protective eyewear, hard hats, gloves, ear plugs, etc.
• Must be able to communicate in English
