Shipping Technician - First Shift

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform inventory transactions in the WMS system during picking, kitting and return to stock
• Accurately pick and kit materials
• Put inbound products in location
• Replenish pick locations
• Cycle count and keep work area clean

Primary Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and kitting components required for production according to Kitting lists
• Organize and label kits clearly according to procedures
• Support production by delivering materials to the plant
• Identify and report any material shortages, discrepancies, revisions errors, or quality issues
• Aid in shipping/receiving when needed and prepare materials for supplier returns or RMA processes
• Maintain a clean, organized work area

Additional Responsibilities

• Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner wearing all required PPE
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Willing to work in moderate noise levels and a non-temperature-controlled environment
• Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Good reading comprehension and numerical skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and processes
• Standing, walking, bending, and repetitive hand motions are required

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or kitting role, preferably in manufacturing
• Ability to read and follow verbal instructions
• Experience using barcode scanners and inventory control systems
• Ability to lift to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
