Shipping Specialist - Summer/Seasonal

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Vial and label tools to be put into the warehouse and/or to send to customers
• Review packing lists, wrap tool orders and consignments to be sent out
• Use shipping vendor software (FedEX, UPS) to label packages for delivery
• Enter WIP orders into inventory system
• Issue correct tooling to fulfill work orders being sent to the production floor
• Pull customer orders in preparation for shipment and/or going to the production floor
• Etch the tooling according to blueprints specifications provided (if assigned)
• Inspect tooling in accordance with blueprints and work orders to ensure customers are receiving correct tools
• Inventory management of finished products
• Maintain documentation of professional achievements and growth within provided resources to actively participate in our progressive review process with supervisor
• Maintain 5S and a neat and clean work area

• Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications/Education/Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer use skills
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions and training documents
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
