Responsibilities
- Ensure that materials are checked against vendor invoices, bills of lading, customer orders, and similar documentation.
- Oversee the record keeping of damaged or defective items and discrepancies with regard to quantities or weights.
- Record time, date, quantity, source, and destination of materials that have been shipped or received.
- Evaluate the efficiency of existing shipping/receiving processes and implement procedural improvements when necessary.
- Monitor and track staff performance against organizational objectives.
- Review and maintain records of shipping/receiving processes.
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area).
- Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the field's policies, procedures, and practices.
- Ability to lead and direct the work of other employees.
- Authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions.
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of experience.

Pay
$72,000 - $90,000 annually.
