Shipping/Receiving Supervisor

About the role

Support the Shipping & Receiving team by overseeing the workforce, maintaining a safe work environment, coaching, training, and developing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Schedule work and assist with hiring decisions
• Provide input on employee performance and development
• Maintain a safe work environment with the goal of having zero work-related injuries
• Understand and follow all safety procedures
• Coach, train, and develop personnel
• Understand and enforce all company policies fairly and consistently

Requirements

• 2+ years of shop floor working experience at Romac as an Assistant Supervisor or Lead or 4+ years of similar outside workplace experience
• Strong communication, typing, math, and computer skills
• Possess or can obtain a CPR and Industrial First Aid certificate
• Possess at least a limited blueprint reading ability

Skills

• Understanding and manufacturing according to Romac's production system and meeting stated productivity goals
• Understanding and following the concepts of the Theory of Constraints and Lean Manufacturing

Pay

Base Compensation Range: Compensation offered will be based on a variety of individual factors, including education and experience, as well as internal equity.

Schedule

Hours: Mon-Thurs 5:00am-3:30pm, rotating Friday from 8am-12pm
