Shipping & Receiving Supervisor - 2nd Shift

About the role

Relapath is recruiting a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor for 2nd shift at our customer's location in Findlay, OH. This is a direct-hire position with competitive salary, benefits, and annual bonus potential.

Schedule

2nd shift with rotating weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer's shipping requirements and create ship lists to meet requirements.
• Utilize forklift/hi-lo experience to coordinate the safe storage, loading, and unloading of product to ensure integrity of product.
• Coordinate proper shipping documents for each shipment.
• Conduct E.D.I. transactions, as required by the customer.
• Schedule trucks for inbound and outbound freight.
• Direct shipping team & team leader on priorities and assignments.
• Maintain records: releases, shipping documents, pricing, update/keep current shipping/billing information.
• Maintain shipping supply inventory.
• Develop positive relationships with customers, with a high degree of customer service, serving as a customer contact backup.
• Identify and execute departmental continuous improvement projects.
• Treat all team members with professionalism, respect, and dignity.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Advanced Forklift/ Hi-Lo experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication experience.
• Strong computer literacy skills.
• Team player able to work within the group.
• Ability to lead and inspire team members.
• Detail-oriented approach to tasks.

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Materials, or similar/equivalent.
• Some knowledge of Plex manufacturing software.
• 1-2 years of experience in Shipping & Receiving Supervisor role in the auto industry.
• Forklift/ Hi-Lo certification.
