Shipping Receiving Manager
About the role
Manages multiple functions within the organization, including the transportation of raw materials and/or finished goods, vendor selection and negotiation, distribution of supplies as needed, and inventory control. Reports to top management.
Responsibilities
- Manages the work of the Sales Administrators.
- Uses a wide degree of creativity, flexibility, and multi-tasking to accomplish activities.
- Maintains comprehensive knowledge of international logistics concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ensures computer proficiency to accomplish activities, accuracy, attention to details.
- Show strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Show strong judgment and negotiation skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 5-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Comprehensive knowledge of international logistics concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Computer proficiency to accomplish activities, accuracy, attention to details.
- Solid interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Strong judgment and negotiation skills.
