Primary Skills And Responsibilities
- Check all shipments and report shortages and defects to the appropriate work groups for all shipments.
- Record material or items information received or distributed.
- Keep track of Delivery schedule report in Job Boss: notify management on delayed or late shipments.
- Follow up on all daily receipts to make sure they arrive on time; notify management if shipments do not arrive as expected or quantity expected.
- Accept and process incoming shipments from customers or vendors.
- Execute incoming inspection for selected items required to make sure it is correct and to specifications as determined by quality; fill out required data entry.
- Maintain necessary documentation and forward to appropriate groups for all shipments received.
- Approve and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to and from customers and vendors.
- Log in all incoming material into JobBoss with location to keep track of inventory.
- Perform physical inventory monthly and reconcile to JobBoss with count and location.
- Pick material to jobs as required on Job Travelers and Sales Orders.
- Work with purchasing to get customer supplied material PO’s in order to receive product.
- Verify labels match the travelers and prints.
- Verify quantities and count independently; as required.
- Make sure all packages shipping have labels with part number and descriptions.
- Stock and order packaging and associated materials as needed according to min/max inventory levels.
- Perform various other duties and participate in special projects as assigned by the manager within the physical constraints of the job.
- Learn to understand and comply with all safety and environmental requirements and company policies of XL Machine Co.
- Follow quality standards to ensure parts are to the customer and company standards.
- Fork truck experience is required to unload trucks and move parts around facility.
- Must be able to pass the fork truck test and acquire a fork truck license from XL Machine Company.
Qualifications
