Responsibilities
- Complete Powered Industrial Truck training, test, and obtain license
- Load and unload goods from inbound/outbound trucks
- Knowledge of FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory management
- Complete shipping/receiving paperwork in Plex
- Receive, move, and ship inventory in Plex
- Basic computer skills required
- Promote a safe work environment and prevent injuries through 5S practices
- Ensure shipping and receiving windows are covered
- Manage cycle count schedules monthly (ABC classifications for counting frequency)
- Problem-solve losses/gains greater than $1,000 using a worksheet
- Perform hot counts for material shortages
- Prepare for and assist with physical inventory
- Take on tasks as defined by the supervisor
Requirements
- Must be capable of physically performing all essential job functions with reasonable accommodations
- Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
- If selected, candidate must remain in the new role for a minimum of 6 months before pursuing other hourly production positions
