Shipping/Receiving B Shift

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handling professional to join our team. The successful candidate will visually inspect, assemble, and package products to customer specifications, and load, unload, and move materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders for assembly technicians and put parts in correct locations
• Work with little or no supervision while following all company policies and procedures
• Participate and contribute in a team environment
• Learn multiple shipping and receiving processes
• Maintain inventory accuracy and customer service measures
• Operate hoists and material handling equipment, including fork trucks (certification required)
• Attach identifying tags or labels to materials
• Load and unload material shipments using lift trucks
• Pickup and deliver materials to and from storage and work areas
• Maintain counts, weights, and material receipt and movement records via computer entry
• Observe and follow all safety rules, plans, policies, and procedures
• Work efficiently to achieve established production standards
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance; occasional overtime expected

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED highly desired
• 6 months experience in an industrial manufacturing environment highly desired
• Computer and keyboard proficiency in a Windows environment (SAP, Excel, Word)
• Basic math skills, including knowledge of decimals
• Ability to routinely lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
• Close vision and depth perception
• Ability to routinely reach with hands and arms and use hands to finger objects
• Frequently required to stand and walk
• Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed
• Good safety and attendance record

Schedule

• B shift: 10pm–8am Monday–Wednesday and 8pm–6am Thursday
• Eligible for 5% night shift premium
• Overtime as needed
