Shipping/Receiving | 1st shift

Position Summary

Shipping/Receiving is responsible for the handling of all materials from the production operations through shipping to customers or other locations. The role involves operating forklifts, stretch wrap equipment, and other equipment as required.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory and accuracy through cycle counts.
• Fill orders from pick lists or Bill of Lading, including broken lot orders.
• Unload inbound materials as needed to meet production requirements.
• Load orders for customers to meet freight requirements.
• Schedule their own and others’ work to meet customer and production requirements.
• Operate hand scanner and able to navigate menu to perform required actions.
• Operate shrink wrapper machine.
• Attend work during the regularly scheduled shift, including the ability to work overtime as required, to be present at work, arrive on time, and be at the work station ready for work at the start of the shift.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PC skills required, ERP/SAP systems preferred.
• Forklift and Hand Truck certified.

• Read a tape measure.
• Comprehend job training and safety instructions.
